Welcome to Lovely Greens Handmade. We are a small business based on the Isle of Man, making and selling handmade soap, skincare, and other thoughtfully chosen products.

This page explains how ordering and delivery work, your rights as a customer, how we protect your personal information, and how we use cookies on our website.

1. Shipping & Delivery

Where we deliver

Lovely Greens ships orders to the Isle of Man, the United Kingdom and the Channel Islands. We do not currently offer delivery to other international destinations.

Processing and delivery times

Orders are usually dispatched within two working days of receiving payment. Delivery from the Isle of Man to the UK can take around a week, although actual delivery times may vary depending on the postal service and other circumstances outside our control.

We appreciate your patience while your order makes its way to you. If your parcel has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us so we can help.

Shipping costs

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. Eligible orders may qualify for reduced or promotional shipping rates, as displayed on our website at the time of purchase.

The delivery charge shown at checkout will form part of your order total.

Delivery addresses

Please check your delivery address carefully before placing your order. We will send your parcel to the address supplied at checkout. You can enter a separate delivery address if you would like to send an order as a gift.

We cannot guarantee delivery when an incorrect or incomplete address has been provided, and we do not deliver to PO boxes.

If you notice an error in your address, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help if your order has not yet been dispatched.

Payment

Payment must be completed before your order is dispatched. Available payment methods are displayed at checkout.

Where payment is processed by a third-party payment provider, your payment information will be handled in accordance with that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

2. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If something is wrong with your order, please contact us so we can put things right.

Cancelling an order

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to cancel it if it has not yet been dispatched.

If your order has already been dispatched, your statutory cancellation rights may still apply. Please see the information below.

Returning products

If an item arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, please contact us promptly with your order details and, if possible, photographs of the issue. We will explain the next steps and the remedies available to you.

For hygiene and product-safety reasons, we may be unable to accept returns of certain personal-care products where a relevant legal exception applies, such as eligible sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and have been unsealed after delivery.

This does not remove your rights in relation to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods, or any other rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Your statutory rights

Depending on the circumstances and the laws applicable to your purchase, you may have a legal right to cancel an online purchase within a specified period after receiving it.

Some exceptions apply, including to certain personalised goods and qualifying sealed products that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict your statutory rights. If you are unsure whether a return or cancellation is possible, please contact us before sending anything back.

3. Soapmaking Workshops

We also offer soapmaking and skincare workshops. The following terms apply to workshop bookings.

  • Payment: Full payment is required when booking.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel up to seven days before the workshop for a full refund.
  • Late cancellations: If you cancel within seven days of the workshop, a refund may be available if another attendee takes your place.
  • Changing your booking: You may gift your place to another person or contact us to discuss moving your booking to another workshop date within the same calendar year, subject to availability.
  • Workshop cancellations: If we cancel a workshop, we will provide a full refund.
  • Age and safety: Soapmaking workshops are for adults aged 18 and over who are comfortable taking part in practical activities involving caustic soda and other soapmaking materials.

We will provide workshop details, dates, and any additional requirements with the relevant booking information. Any applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

4. Website Terms & Conditions

We do our best to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information are accurate and up to date. However, occasional errors or changes may occur. If an error affects an order you have placed, we will contact you where appropriate to discuss the available options.

Our products are made for their stated purposes. Please read the product descriptions, ingredient lists and directions for use before purchasing or using any soap or skincare product.
